North Savo Energy Cluster Employer Day 12.2.2026 in Varkaus

Location: Savonia University of Applied Sciences Varkaus Campus (Opiskelijankatu 3)

Day/time: February 12th, 2026 at 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Our employer event brings together future experts and students, as well as companies in the area that employ experts in the energy and technology sectors.

The event is primarily aimed at Savonia University of Applied Sciences’ energy technology and industrial management students and Sakky vocational degree students in the electrical, plumbing and metal industries.

During the Employers’ Day, energy companies in the region, career stories, and internships and summer jobs for students and future employees will be featured.

Internships and summer jobs are an important way for those who are graduating or still studying to get to know the industry and employers. Correspondingly, companies gain exposure to future talent so that the availability and commitment of a skilled workforce to the region in the future is ensured already during training.

This year, the event will be held again on the campus of Savonia University of Applied Sciences in Varkaus, with our member companies and industry experts participating throughout the day, such as:
