RDI teams
General
Energy Cluster North Savo has established RDI teams covering various thematic areas based on business needs. An expert from the University of Eastern Finland, or Savonia University of Applied Sciences, has been appointed as a leader for each individual RDI team. Representatives of companies interested in a specific thematic area participate in the corresponding RDI team.
Tasks and goals of the RDI teams in thematic areas
- control of planning and implementation of the RDI process relating to the thematic area of the team and included in the project plan
- scanning of RDI needs of companies and their expectations of the RDI teams
- assessing and, if necessary, upgrading the RDI resources of Savonia and UEF
- national and international networking
- regional RDI vision and road map for thematic areas
- applications to Business Finland and the EU (funding for business-oriented RDI activities)
